The House of de la Renta always stood for sophisticated luxury and I am glad to see that has not waned a year after his death. Creative Director Peter Copping keeps to this aesthetic by using sandal, mule and pump silhouettes. Each style in this article also uses vibrant colors such as yellow, turquoise and blue that were always loved by Oscar.
The jewels on the pink satin sandal pays homage to the myriad first ladies who have worn designs created by Oscar de la Renta. Also, I enjoyed Coppings cork/suede combination that paired a neutral color with bright suede fuchsia, blue and green.
